Hi, I’m Thomas Metelski. I’m a comedian & actor living in the New York City area.
It wasn’t until later in my life that I professionally pursued comedy and acting, but it was always in me! I remember watching in wonder old Abbott & Costello movies on Sunday mornings after finishing delivering my newspaper routes back in grade school. Performing was always in my blood but was not always appreciated on the path I was taking, not a lot of humor in accounting and business!
After many life experiences I’ve finally come home to the performing arts. I’ve dedicated several years to formal training in New York City and was fortunate enough to study at the prestigious William Esper Studio under the guidance of great teachers and an amazing supporting staff! Also trained and completed improv and sketch programs at Upright Citizens Brigade (“UCB”) as well as various stand-up comedy workshops. The education will never end but leaving the nest of the classroom has given me a wonderful foundation to let me spread my wings!

Anyone who takes this path knows it is not for those with casual ambition and requires a tremendous support structure! I’ve been blessed with a solid foundation that starts with my wife who has shown courage in ambiguity and my children who have inspired me more than they could ever know. It is them who I carry in my heart on this crazy journey.
I approach this path with great excitement!
